Calling all poets !

(Park Inn by Radisson in Avenue de la Gare).

Sonnets have fourteen lines, preferably in iambic pentameter (or hexameter, or tetrameter like Sonnet 145 apparently by Shakespeare) and preferably with a rhyme scheme:  abc abd cab cde de like John Keats, or abab, cdcd, efef, gg like Shakespeare or (sometimes) Edna St. Vincent Millay, or abab, cdcd, efg, efg like Rupert Brooke, or abba abba ccd eed like Pierre de Ronsard, or any other rhyme scheme that works: it’s up to you!  Unrhymed sonnets will also be accepted, but those with a rhyme scheme and a meter that works may have an advantage.

Please send sonnets ON PAPER to LEAPA at the address below by  31 March 2019, enclosing a sealed envelope containing your full contact details — name and address, telephone number and email address — and with the title(s) of the sonnet(s) marked on the outside of the envelope.  Please do not identify the author on the sheet containing the sonnet itself.  The inner envelope will be opened only after entries have been received, read by the judging panel and put to the vote.

Address for submission:
LEAPA, 4 rue NS Pierret, L-2335 Luxembourg
